In 2012 100 volunteers performed 2100 hours of trail work at Munny Sokol Park, Lake Lurleen State Park and Hurricane Creek Park. This is valued at about $43,000 for the purpose of funds matching and such. The top three volunteers were, Gary Falls, 455 hrs, Michael Cornwell, 407 hrs and Patricia Falls, 110 hrs. It’s my foot’s fault I only had 72 hrs. I think Gary is 60 years old, Michael is 70 and of course Patricia is 29. These three volunteers did 46% of the work on the trails we ride last year. I know that not everyone has the time or desire to do this much trail work but remember their effort and that of others the next time you ride. Unless you have attended numerous scheduled work days and at least one Trail Care Crew class don’t criticize the the trail design.

Richard, I AM NOT 70!! Well, at least not until June 23rd. Mr. Falls is not as young as you stated, but since he seems even younger, I’m not telling his age.
At any rate, great job guys. Your work is enjoyed by all and appreciated by most.
